I have a job. Can the court order part of my salary to be garnished in order to repay my debts?
Yes. However, your wages are not seizable in their entirety; the amount determined is calculated on the basis of whether or not you provide for the needs of one or several people. Do you feel you have been wrongfully treated? Or have you already repaid your debt? You can dispute the garnishment before the court.
