For my birthday, I received two copies of the same book as presents. Is it possible to take one back and to obtain a refund?
It is possible if you have the invoice and if the retailer where the book was bought has a refund policy. Retailers are not obliged to take back the products they sell, unless they are defective or dangerous. If the retailer to whom you address yourself refuses to take the product back, you can try to reach a compromise with him. Perhaps, for example, he could agree to exchange your book for another article of the same value, or offer you a credit.
